Fuse Recruitment

It pays to be connected

Welcome!

If you're here, it probably means you are considering a new role in recruitment. We created this page to highlight who we are and what it's like to work at Fuse.

Our team of 70 is more of a family. We know it can be cringe when companies describe their work like that, but we really are one big Fuse family. We support each other, we communicate, and we're there to celebrate the wins and help each other through our losses.

People are at the centre of everything we do. Our clients, our candidates and our internal employees. Without them, Fuse would not have had success. This is why we invest in our people and have initiatives in place to ensure they are continuously developing, supported and engaged.

So, if you are looking for a new role, we'd love to have a chat about whether Fuse would be the right business for you!

Why Choose Fuse?

We know there are plenty of recruitment agencies for you to choose from, but we think there are none just like us. We take a people-centric approach to business, whether that's our clients, candidates, or our people. We support each other on our journey from Good to Great.

Our purpose, vision, and values guide our ways of working and embody the spirit of Fuse.

Where could your career go?

Over the past 18 months, we have restructured our business and created new roles and new career paths. We will continue to evolve our organisational design to provide the best opportunities for our people and the best service for our clients and candidates.

Below we have two examples of very different career journeys in our business. Watch and learn what our team have to say about their experience so far!

Jeremy joined the Fuse team as a Recruitment Resourcer in 2019. His previous role was as a Personal Trainer. Now, he is our Insurance Team Leader in Victoria, leading nine employees.

Sam Joined Fuse in 2018 as a Recruitment Consultant with no prior recruitment experience. She progressed to a Senior Consultant and has since been promoted to Manufacturing Team Leader in Queensland.

Learning & Development

Our L&D program was designed to support every role in our business. We utilise a skills matrix to highlight areas of opportunity for individual employees and assist them in personal and professional development.

In addition to our professional-related training, our employees are encouraged to find online courses via Udemy to develop their skill set in anything! Cooking, cartoon drawing musical instruments; you name it, there is a course for it on Udemy!

"... We know the key to Fuse's success is our people. I want Fuse to be the vehicle that allows our people to grow, achieve their goals, and become the best versions of themselves inside and outside work. If we can help our people to do that, then we're succeeding ..."

Mathew Westcott
Managing Director

Employee Engagement

The engagement of our employees is absolutely vital to our success. We want people to grow and develop with us, succeed, learn, and build a fulfilling life inside and outside work.

We run quarterly engagement surveys to measure and assess our employees' engagement. These surveys provide insight into employees' thoughts and attitudes towards their work and the overall environment and highlight areas we can improve in.

Employee Assistance Program

One of the things we are really proud of at Fuse is how supportive we are. We have a family-like culture and are always there for one another. But sometimes, we all need a bit more support. This is why we signed up with EAP Assist, an employee assistance program.

EAP Assist supports employees with confidential telephone counselling. The aim of this service is to help resolve both workplace & personal issues before they adversely impact a person's well-being. EAP Assist counsellors are all highly experienced & the service is completely confidential.

This support line is for our people whenever they want it.
